Maha Buddhavamsa
The Great Chronicle of The Buddhas
by Tipitakadhara Mingun Sayadaw

King Suddhodana Achieving Anagami-Phala After
Listen to Sermons of Mahàdhammapàla Jataka
One day after the event, when the Tathagata comes
to the king's palace to eat, accompanied by twenty thousand Arahanta,
King Suddhodana serve the Tathagata and the Arahanta with
soft and delicious food before the main meal. And during
that lag time the king with eager telling the
experience with the gods, "My Eminence son , when
You train hard by excruciating self, the god appears in
sky and tell me, "Your son, Prince
Siddhattha had died from lack of food. "
Then, the Tathagata said to the king, "My Father, do thou

believe the words of that god? "The king replied," No, I
do not believe it. "I reject the words of the gods in the sky
by saying, "There's no way my son enters Nibbana
before he attained Buddhahood under the Bodhi tree
that comfortable. "
Then Buddha said, "My father (not only in this life),
when, in past lives, you are the chief of
Maha Dhammapàla in a village, you also reject the words
a famous teacher, Disàpàmokkha, informing
to you, "Your son, young Dhammapàla has died ;
These are the bones of your son, "while showing
bones of a goat as evidence. You then
denied, saying, "In our Dhammapàla tribe, no one
have died in young age: "You do not believe it
altogether. Now in the last round of your life,
why do you have to believe in the words of the gods?;
of course not. "Then, at the request of his father, the Buddha
preached a sermon Maha Dhammapàla Jataka (Dasaka nipata
Jataka ninth).
After preaching the Jataka, the Buddha continued
by explaining the main points of the Four Dhamma
Noble Truths. At the end of this explanation, King Suddhodana
anagamin attained.
Foster mother, Pajapati Gotami, Funding One Set robe She
Weave Herself To Buddha
As explained earlier, the day after arrival
Tathagata and the Arahanta in Kapilavatthu, King Suddhodana
after revealing the reasons for disaffection and
disapproval see the Tathagata and the Arahanta being
around collecting alms, and then invite
Tathagata and The Arahanta to the royal palace.
When Mahàpajàpati Gotami witnessing greatness and
grandeur of the physical appearance during the visit of the Tathagata Tathagata

is next to the royal palace, he thought, "how beautiful
appearance of this my son! "and filled with feelings of inner
joy overflowing. Then he thought:
"For twenty-nine years old when he was still a layman,
is that I'm fully responsible for the welfare
my son, in terms of food, clothing, and shelter, even
in the affairs of a banana skin open to him. Now he has
grown into a Buddhist who has attained Enlightenment
Perfect, it is good if I own a single weave
the robe and Funding to Him. "
He owns a house in the palace complex weaving
empire, and buy good quality cotton from the market.
Work separating cottonseed and cotton spinning into
he did his own yarn. He was summoned to the palace of expert weavers
and ordered them to weave cloth for
make robes, providing hard and soft delicious food
from his own desk for them, and pay more to
them. He visited the workplace, accompanied by the butler
and engaged in weaving cloth robe.
When the cloth had been woven of good weavers and the scholars have
given the appropriate wages, he put the cloth in
a box of cloth scented so they can absorb
fragrance and when all is ready, he went to the king and
said:
"Your Honor, I want Funding newly woven cloth
to be used as a cloak to the greatest son, and
deliver it to the monastery. "
King Suddhodana immediately ordered that the road between the palace
and monasteries cleaned; entire street swept, jug-jug of water
placed along the streets decorated with banners and ribbons-
ribbon. From the gate of the palace to the monastery Nigrodha, whole
streets littered with flowers.

With a magnificent ceremony, Mahàpajàpati Gotami, decorated with
jewelry and a full ceremonial dress, walked to the monastery
accompanied by his servants, to carry the coffins containing fragrant fabrics
cloak over his head and when he got there, he told
Tathagata:
"My son is noble, I, thy stepmother, handed it to-
Mu, after processing the cotton, spinning, and weaving cloth
to be made a cloak devices that are all done
own. I ask that you accept a piece of cloth
has kutenun and kudanakan Thee as compassionate and
Your sympathy for me. "
(Full story about the foster mother for a single weave fabric
device to the Buddha's robe and funding it contained in
12-Dakkhiõàvibanga, 4-Vibaïga Magga, Uparipa ¤ ¤ ASA).
Note: Comments Dakkhiõà Vibaïga Sutta says, "The
foster mother intends Funding Tathagata Tathagata robe to
during his first visit to Kapilavatthu, and so on.
In the book mentioned that the Tathagata advised Pàëi
to funding it to Samgha (rather than to Him
personally) so he can get more services
large. Then the Venerable Ananda represent the stepmother pleaded
Buddha's robes in order to receive funds for his own
considering their mutual relationship.
Here arises one thing worth noting. Venerable Ananda
still not become a monk to the first visit Tathagata
to Kapilavatthu. He was ordained as the Buddha arrived in the forest
mango Anupiya in Malla kingdom on the way back from
Kapilavatthu. Jataka commentary also mentions the fact that
Tathagata back from Kapilavatthu after helping King
Suddhodana achieve three Fruit levels lower.
Therefore, to adjust these differences, it would be
appropriate if we assume that Mahàpajàpati Gotami producing
the idea to weave fabric for a cloak apparatus to

Buddha and carry out her idea in action during
Tathagata first visit, and that she funding it
with a magnificent ceremony during the following visit of Tathagata
to Kapilavatthu.
