Explanation with respect to Buddhavamsa Gotama
So far, we have discussed about the name, tribe, family,
and others of twenty-four Buddhas, the Buddha Dipankara
to Buddha Kassapa as narrated in the Book
Buddhavamsa Pali and commentaries related.
To Buddhavamsa Gotama we are discussing, have been tried
to collect in full by the Book
Buddhavamsa Pali and comments related as well as quote-
excerpts from the Pali Canon and other commentaries.
Buddha Gotama (according to the petition filed by the
Venerable Sariputta), has been described in detail part of
Buddhavamsa in connection with twenty-four Buddhas, from


Dipankara to Kassapa, pour sermons like a river
flowing sky, and went on to explain about
himself, from above the jewel street in the sky, within twenty
four-stanza poem as follows:
First Dhamma exposition events
(1) Ahametarahi Sambuddho
  Gotamo Sakyavaddhano
  padànam padahitvàna
  patto Sambodhimuttamam
My son, Sariputta, I, a descendant of Gotama lineage,
that advance the Sakya clan, after six years of practicing
hard in meditation (padhàna) finally managed to reach
Buddhahood.
(2) Brahmunà yàcito saint
  Dhammacakkam pavattayim
  attharasannam kotinam
  pathamàbhisamayo AHU
My son, Sariputta, at the request of Brahma Sahampati on
eighth week after achieving Perfect Enlightenment, I
expound khobah Dhammacakka in Deer Park, Isipatana,
Bàrànasi. At that time (for the first time) eighteen crore
Brahma led by Thera Kondanna successfully penetrate
Four Noble Truths and attain Liberation.

My son, Sariputta, as a continuation of the teachings that I gave,
Dhammacakka, when I preached the Mangala Sutta, the


human society and the gods are being debated
about blessings, Mangala, this is the second event in which no
Countless human beings, gods and Brahma successfully penetrate
Four Noble Truths and attain Liberation.

(4) Idhevàham etarahi
  ovadim mama atrajam
  na gananàya vattabbo

My son, Sariputta, I also like the Buddhas before,

grant all desires, meets human desire,
gods, and Brahma will and adiduniawi earthly happiness.
(7) Phalamàkankhamà planted
  bhavacchanda jahesinam
  catusaccam pakàsemi
  anukampàya pàninam
My son, Sariputta, for the good of humans, gods and Brahma
who want to achieve four levels of Fruit of the Path and release
themselves from attachment to sensual natural birth, I am, because
My compassion, has explained the Four Noble Truths (order
they can achieve their goals).
(This is an example of how the Tathagata benefit
to all beings in a way expounded the Four
Noble Truths).
(8) Dasavisasahassànam
  Dhammàbhisamayo AHU
  ekadvinnam abhisamayo
  gananàto asankhiyo
My son, Sariputta, as a result of the explanation Four Truths
Noble, intelligent creatures, numbering ten thousand
in one session, or twenty thousand after the next session, has
achieve freedom; in other cases in which the creatures
managed to achieve freedom in two or three times, the numbers
not counted).
(9) Vitthàrikam bàhujannam
  iddham phitam suphullitam
  idha mayham sakyamunino
  Sàsanam suvisodhitam
My son, Sariputta, I, descendant of the family of the Kingdom of Sakya,
have been let go forth and be a hermit and has
teach the Dhamma; my teaching, the Sasana, will spread
in three of nature (humans, gods, and Brahma) and many creatures


who saw it clearly will thrive, clean and
shine.
(10) Anàsavà vitaràgà
  santacittà samàhità
  bhikkhånekasatà sabbe
  parivàrenti sada mam.
My son, Sariputta, I was always surrounded by many monks who
has been free from àsava, not tied to the sport, and that with
sound mind has a deep concentration like
oil lamps are lit quiet with no wind.
(11) Idàni ye etarahi
  jahanti mànusam bhavam
  appattamànasà sekhà
  te bhikkhå vinnugarahità
My son, Sariputta, there are certain monks who, even
in my lifetime, had died just as
the practice (sekkha) without successfully reaching Arahatta-Phala.
They are denounced by the wise.
(12) Ariyanjasam thomayantà
  sada dhammaratà jana
  bujjhissanti satimanto
  msàrasaritam Gata
My son, Sariputta, they are people who are caring
who praised the Noble Eightfold Path and happy in
Dhamma in day and night will be able to cross the ocean
samsara in a limited number of births, and obtain
Liberation through penetration of the Four Noble Truths.

(14) Ekånatimsavassàni
  agàram ajjhaham vasim
  rammo surammo subhako
  Tayo Pàsàdamuttamà
My son, Sariputta, I have become king in Kapilavatthu, during
twenty-nine years old, living in three palaces: Ramma, palace
winter with a nine-story pagoda,; Suramma, palace
summer with five levels, and Subha, the palace of seven levels
for the rainy season.
(15) Cattarisasahassàni
  nàriyo samalankatà
  Bhaddakancanà name nari
  Rahulo name atrajo
My son, Sariputta, during my reign,
there are forty thousand women are gorgeous waitress; of my queen
is Bhaddakancanà and my son is Rahula.
(16) Nimitte caturo disvà
  assayànena nikkhamim
  chabbassam padhàcàram
  acarim dukkaram aham
My son, Sariputta, after seeing four signs (parents,
sick, dead, and an ascetic), I went with
riding my horse, Kandaka. In Uruvela Forest (far),
I spent six years training with
torture yourself, dukkaracariya, which is beyond the
ordinary people.


(17) Vàrànasiyam Isipatane
  cakkam pavattitam virtual
  aham Gotamasambuddho
  Saranam sabbapàninam
My son, Sariputta, at Isipatana, Forest Migadāya in Bàrànasi, I

(18) Kolito Upatisso ca
  DVE monks aggasàvakà
  ânando nàmupatthàko
  santikàvacaro mama

My son, Sariputta, Main My Students is a pair of monks,
Kolita (Majesty Moggallana) and Upatissa (Majesty
Sariputta); monks remain my servant who always accompanied me

(19) Citto hatthàlavako ca
  aggupatthàkupàsaka

(21) Appam vassasatam Ayu
  Idhànetarahi vijjati
  tàvatà titthamànoham
  tàremi janatam bahum
My son, Sariputta, age lives (humans) are currently very
short, only a hundred years, I will live for four-fifths

ocean of samsara) and deliver them to the beach Nibbana.

  pacchimam janabodhanam
  ahampi nacirasseva
  saddhim sàvakasamghato
  idheva parinibbissam
  aggivàhàrasankhayà
My son, Sariputta, I have lit the torch of Dhamma, so that
The next generation can understand the Four Noble Truths.
Does not depend on time, within the guidance of my students

(24) Dasa disa pabhàtsetva
  sataram siva sappabhà
  Sabbath tamantarahissanti
  nanu Ritta sabbasankkhàrà
My son, Sariputta, my sublimeness and power that unrivaled,
ten of my physical strength and my body, that beautiful
viewed, which contains like a mountain of gold, thirty-two
signs of extraordinary human beings together with six
special wisdom (Asàdhàrana Nana) and ten mind power
 (Dasabala Nana), six-color light emanating from
my body, and illuminating all directions like the sunlight,
all just mentioned would soon perish and vanish.
Isn't it all conditioned, living or dead, all of them
futile and has no abiding essence, true happiness
and core? (Therefore, I encourage you to train
meditation of Clear views (Vipassana) by reflecting on three
characteristics of conditioned phenomena, and practice
hard to attain Nibbana. Thus the usual instructions for
all of you, which is given by the Buddha who has reached
Perfect Enlightenment. With diligence and caring,
strive to fulfill the our instructions).
