thus there is a difference of four stanzas, but
these differences can be ignored).
After the verses are spoken by Thera Kàludàyi, Tathagata
replied, "My child, Kàludàyi, why do you urge me
to visit Kapilavatthu with words of
praise and with a melodious voice? Kàludàyi Thera said,
"Most High, thy fathers of old age, King Suddhodana
really want to pay tribute to you and Samgha.
I hope you are willing to honor your relatives with
your visit. "Then the Tathagata grant
by saying, "Your wish granted, my
child, Kàludàyi. You may notify Samgha
about my visit to Kapilavatthu to honor relatives
 of mine, and they will do the usual official procedures
according to the demands of this event." "Well, your honor," replied Thera
Kàludàyi and notify the twenty thousand monks
as he commanded.
